Is your lodge paying too much sales tax? Many lodges are and it is a simple problem to fix!

The problem starts as a "sales tax included" policy. Most lodges operated in this manner as it is certainly easier for servers at the point of purchase. All too often state sales tax is being calculated on the gross collected. Essentially this results in your lodge paying tax on the sales tax collected! The tax collected must be backed out of the gross prior to calculating the amount due to the Department of Revenue.
